And now we have a 9 game lead....

Woohoo....The Twins dominated the series over the White Sox and I can't wait for what else has to come. We scored 26 runs over the 3 game series and they only scored 11 runs. We domintated in hitting, pitching and defense. I'm heading to the game tonight and im excited. Im so happy to go and I hope they can still dominate for the rest of the season. We are .5 game off the Tampa Bay Rays for the best record in the American League also and if we can get home field advantage in the playoffs, teams would have to come into Target Field to play the hottest team in baseball.

I cannot wait to see JJ Hardy tonight. He's definitely my favorite player and is on a 7 game hitting steak. Im excited to see him and even the icing on the cake is that I get to meet him at Fan HQ tomorrow at Ridgedale mall. Hopefully is still the sweetest guy that I know him to be.

Bring on the Oakland A's tonight and many more games that we have to play!!!!!!!!

A September to Remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess its about time that I actually start blogging again because its been awhile. The TWINS have been the hottest team in baseball since the all star break and I hope they can keep going forward. We actually have a chance to get home field advantage in the playoffs which would be really sweet for us.

Today starts a really important series for us against the White Sox. Tonight's pitching match up is Liriano vs. Danks, with Duensing pitching tomorrow and thursday with Pavano. I think our 3 pitchers can give us the best chance of winning along with actually getting some hits unlike the series in Cleveland until sundays game.

I hope tonight is that start of some amazing things and I hope it brings us into October with some great playing and leads us to the World Series. Best of Luck TWINS and hope u bring us home some wins.

More TEXAS heartbreak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So It doesnt help that Justin Morneau has been out since the beginning of July but apparently we forgot how to win in TEXAS. We need to get out of here as soon as we can.

Its not that we have horrible pitching and we loose like a billion to one. We have lost 3 close games with 3 great pitchers that have shown us in the past that they can be wonderful. One mistake costs us the game and we try so hard to come back and win and always fall up short. Hopefully tomorrow with Liriano and texas's ace Cliff Lee, we can finally win won since we havent lost 4 straight in forever. We need to leave texas and move onto seattle and hopefully win their while the white sox better loose to baltimore.

We need Justin Morneau back sooner then later but I know his health is the most important so I hope he recovers quickly and come help us win the pennant. JJ Hardy needs to start hitting again and Joe Mauer needs to quit striking out in the most important times. He only struck out once during high school...why cant he be like that again!!.

Well, sorry to rant but Im sick of the TWINS loosing and I just want to see them win again. They have the capabilities of hitting and pitching, we just need to start showing it again. I love baseball and the Twins and just want some wins..what else can a girl ask for?? well except maybe a date with JJ Hardy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hardy is back which makes my heart happy!!!

Well, how's everyone going. The Twins have had some ups and downs lately and hopefully things will turn around for the good.

We just started a 4 game series with the Tampa Bay Rays, which started on thursday. Today is game 3 and we are winning as of right now. We lost on thursday when I attended the game with Joe. It was alot of fun but we ended up losing in 10 innings after Rauch blew the save. Game 2 was last night and we ended up winning 2-1 which was scary but atleast we won.

Im glad JJ Hardy is back because its been forever since I have seen him play. I want to go to go game again soon that I can see him.

well i guess we blew the lead today and now its tied 4-4 with no outs in the 8th inning.

Where have the TWINS gone????

Well, sorry guys I haven't been around much in the last month to blog. I have been watching the Twins though. I don't try to miss a game unless Im really busy doing something and then I usually catch the highlights on ESPN. I guess alot has happened since I last blogged. The White Sox are creeping up on us in the Central division when 3 weeks ago they were 8 1/2 games behind and practictly left for dead. An important series with Detriot is coming the next three days and if we loose, we loose being in first place in the Central Division which we have held since the season started. We are now a half game ahead of Detriot and the White sox are only 1 1/2 games back.

Interleague play is supposed to be our friend. We have always done well against NL teams but I guess this yr was just not our year and we ended up 8-10 which is no good if we want to win the Central Division. I dont understand why we have to play all the good teams in the NL but the Tigers get to play all the crappy teams that we could actually beat. We had to play Milwaukee, Atlanta, Colorado, Philly and the New York Mets. Pretty much all of those teams are good and the New York Mets are playing some awesome baseball right now and are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now.

Playing the Mets is hard for me because they are pretty much my other favorite team which is good cause we would only have two chances to play them, in interleague play and then in the World Series. I wish we would have played better this weekend against them but I guess it doesnt always go our way.

I do miss JJ Hardy these days and hope he gets better cause im going to some TWINS games and I would like to see him. The infield misses him and we need him back asap. I would love it if the Twins got Joe Crede back too, then I would be in heaven.

I guess I probably have said to much this time. Well good luck to the TWINS this week and hope we can beat up on Detriot and Tampa Bay during our 7 game homestand before we head away from Target Field for 6 games before the All-star break. Hopefully I will be attending a few games before the all star break, Im going on thurs for sure and hopefully against Tampa Bay too.

Let's bring out our brooms!!!

It's been awhile since I have posted but I figured I better bring everyone up to date since we played the Yanks. Well, we beat them in our last game against them until we have a chance of seeing them in the playoffs. Today brings the last game of the 3 game series against Texas.

Friday we beat Texas 2-1 with our defense holding strong since we didnt really have our bats ready to play. Slowey pitches well to last deep into the game for the first time in awhile and we hold them to only 1 run. Joe Mauer has an rbi to score our first run of the game.

Saturday we decide to bring our bats with Carl Pavano pitching and win 8-3. Orlando Hudson hits a 2-run homer in the 6th inning and we continue our hitting in the 7th with 6 runs including 2 runs off a double by Delmon Young followed by a JJ Hardy single which scores two. We lead by 3.0 games going into tonights game over Detroit. We play tonight since its featured on Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN so that game doesnt start till 7:05. We then leave for a West Coast road trip for 4 at Seattle and 3 in Oakland. I will recap our West Coast Series next Sunday when we our done with the series.

Good Luck to the TWINS tonight against Texas and hope we brought out brooms!!!!

Morneau's on a HOT STREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He spent the last month of last season out with a back injury while watching his Minnesota Twins lose to the Yankees in the playoffs. But this year Justin Morneau is tearing up the baseball world. After being out with that experience he hopes nothing like that happens again so he has vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure it doesn't happen again.

He leads the American League with a batting average of .383 and is in the top five in most major offensive categories. He is up more then 30 points over the next leader which just happens to be teammate Joe Mauer.

It's getting HARD to breathe without # 27

It feels like day 1 million without JJ Hardy and i'm getting anxious to see him play again. Hopefully he will be back against the Skankees because we need him badly. He's probably getting bored not playing either and I miss # 27 out on the field.

It's been a crazy few days if you are a Twins fan. We won on friday 15-3, then saturday had to come back and win in 12 inning 8-7 and today we didn't fair so well and lost 4-3 after leaving the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning. Now we start a three game series on tuesday against the Skankees. Let's bring it and show how domiant we are at the new Target Field.

Well, I have always wondered how the boys pick their music to come up to bat. Well thanks to a blog I need not wonder anymore. I knew Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau's music because its not hard to know what they like but some I did not know. Im glad JJ Hardy is on our team now, he even likes the same music as me. He has Zac Brown Band's chicken fried as his home plate music, loves it.

Well, don't have much more to say tonight but I will be writing after the series at Target Field against the Skankees. Hope # 27 joins the team by then, I sure miss his smile out there!!!
